About me
Prof. Asst. Dr. Besnik Fetahu is Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Social Science at the International Business College Mitrovica and part-time professor at the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Prishtina. He currently serves as Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Social Science and Head of the Master’s Programme, a joint initiative with Sapienza University of Rome.
He holds a PhD in Political Science, specializing in Social Policy, from the University of Tirana. His academic expertise includes social policy, welfare state models, welfare systems, security studies, and social issues.
In addition to his academic work, Dr. Fetahu has experience in public policy, having served as a political advisor in several institutions of the Republic of Kosovo, including the Ministry of Finance, the Assembly of Kosovo, and the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office. He is also a board member of Kosovo’s Health Insurance Fund and has participated in academic mobility programs across several European countries.
