Michal Perna is an independent researcher and developer of assistive technologies inspired by real-life caregiving experience. While caring for a family member with a serious neurological condition, he became aware of the everyday challenges associated with cognitive decline, which led him to design and develop the Radim system – an intelligent assistant with tele-assistive monitoring designed to support people with cognitive and motor impairments.
